Established in 1981, Credomatic of Florida, the Miami-based affiliate of Grupo
Credomatic, provides an array of innovative and profitable credit card solutions
to financial institutions for both credit card issuing and merchant processing
services for Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Credomatic began its operations in Nicaragua in 1971. Subsequently, it expanded
throughout Central America as the pioneer in the bankcard industry, forming
Grupo Credomatic, a network of service providers of integrated credit card issuing
and merchant acquiring services. The development of financial products and services
combined with quality, state-of-the-art technology and experience has given
Grupo Credomatic a leadership position in the Central American financial market.
As one of the signature brands within the BAC Financial Network, Grupo Credomatic
has been able to successfully adapt to changes in the competitive environment,
thereby consolidating its leadership position in the payment systems industry
in Central America.

Central America, the Caribbean and Miami.
In the United States, Credomatic of Florida provides merchant processing services
for all major credit card brands to a variety of merchants including retail
stores, restaurants, hotels and others.
The development of credit card products and services through the integration
of state-of-the-art technology and experience has allowed Credomatic of Florida
to expand its services in the United States and to over 20 countries in the
Latin American/Caribbean Region. Credomatic of Florida continues to enhance
its card processing capabilities to maintain its competitive edge.
Working in conjunction with its affiliate, BAC Florida Bank, Credomatic of
Florida has been able to electronically integrate its services to those of other
organizations within the BAC Financial Network.
In 1998, Credomatic of Florida was selected by American Express to become the
first fully integrated Member Service Provider in the Latin American/Caribbean
Region. Our international experience in the bankcard industry, quality of service
and internal systems development capability provided the basis for this selection
and certification.
