At Credomatic of Florida we value and respect consumer privacy
rights and are in compliance with current regulations established
to assure the security and confidentiality of customer records
and protection against unauthorized access or reuse of such
information.
Credomatic of Florida has a comprehensive information security
program that addresses the procedural, technical, and physical
safeguards necessary to ensure the security and confidentiality
of customer information. As a Managed Service Provider, we
are subject to the security requirements mandated by the Payment
Card Industry Security Standard, the MasterCard Logical Security
Requirements standard, as well as Visa’s and MasterCard’s
physical security standards.
As part of our information security program, we have a response
program in place to respond to any suspected or detected unauthorized
accesses to customer information. In the event of a confirmed
incident affecting a card issuing bank’s customers, we
would follow our response plan and notify the card association,
the card issuing bank and law enforcement as soon as the nature
of the incident and what customer information has been accessed
or misused has been identified.
As a credit card processor and merchant services provider
we guarantee our corporate clients our commitment to protect
the privacy of their customer’s non-public personal information.
All the information obtained for the purposes of servicing
credit card programs and related processing services is used
strictly in connection to the services being provided and to
the extent permitted by law.
We do not disclose any non-public personal information about
customers with any non-affiliated third party for use in telemarketing,
direct mail marketing or other marketing through electronic
mail to the consumer.
Such information may only be disclosed as specifically required
by law or our service agreements and as necessary to:
- Service and maintain the consumer’s account and processing
financial products or services requested or authorized.
- Provide authorization, settlement, billing, processing
and clearing services in connection with credit card
programs.
- Protect the confidentiality of such records and protect
against actual or potential fraud, unauthorized
transactions, claims or other liabilities, for institutional
risk
control or in order to resolve customer disputes
and assure compliance
with industry standards.
- Comply with all applicable federal and state
laws or any subpoena or summons by government
authorities and any other
purposes as authorized by law.
We restrict access to non public personal information about
consumers to authorized employees and representatives who have
been trained to protect the confidentiality and security of
such information and maintain physical, electronic and procedural
security safeguards to comply with federal standards to guard
non-public personal information.
We understand the importance of protecting the privacy and
confidentiality of customer information and we are dedicated
to providing our customers with superior service and the highest
degree of security.
